Drum Head Logos - This is where it all started!

Brand identity for bands started with the drum head logo. As far back as as the 1940s swing bands like The Glen Miller Orchestra had their name and logo on the bass drum head. It would be hard to find anyone on the planet who couldn't identify The Beatles by their iconic logo on Ringo's drum head.

Until recently, if you wanted original graphics on your kick drum head you had to pay an artist to either hand paint it or airbrush it on. This was not only very expensive, but also it was permanent. Band Graffix now has a a variety of kick drum branding solutions.

Option 1) Full Color Decal Stickers

We use the same stong high quality vinyl material that is used in making the vehicle wraps for tour buses and vans. This also means you will be able to use super vivid color schemes and your artwork can be as complex as your imagination allows.

Option 2) Back Lit Vinyl

You can get amazing stage effects by using Band Graffix backlit vinyl on you kick drum head. This material is translucent and adds an entirely new range of possiblities to how your kit will appear. By putting a light source inside you kick drum you will be able to make your band log or kick-ass art glow and project into the audience.

Option 2) Rigid Foam Board

The advantage of using rigid foam board is that the material is super light weight and can be attached to your kick drum head with Velcro. If you are in multiple bands and need to be a chamillion with your kit, you can swap out your logo display in 3 seconds flat. You could stack several rigid drum head cover in a cymbal bag and adjust for whatever band you happen to be playing with that night.
